Members are contributing to the AGORA detector concept for future lepton colliders such as FCC-ee, covering the high-granularity glass calorimeter and endcap RICH, physics and object-performance benchmarks under FCC-ee conditions, and integration with Key4HEP/EDM4HEP and FCCSW.
More universities and institutes have signed the CCICC Charter: 16 institutions have now signed, with several more in the pipeline, widening the consortium's network across LHC analysis, detector development, accelerator technology and scientific computing.
ATLAS, CMS, ALICE and LHCb were jointly awarded the 2025 Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics for their pioneering work on the Higgs boson, the quark–gluon plasma and precision tests of the Standard Model. Chinese teams have long contributed to detector construction, operations and analysis across all four experiments.
